THE BACKGROUND: An astonishing 90% of European women complain of cellulite on their bottoms, hips and thighs. Skin naturally contains millions of adipocytes, cells designed to store fats. These cells can swell up to 60 times their initial size. They deform the fibrous network, and become trapped, forming stubborn fatty deposits that are difficult to break down. CLINICAL TEST: Extensive testing has been carried out by Vichy Laboratoires on Lipometric. Amongst the experiments conducted, an appraisal was gathered from a panel of 50 women aged between 18-45, all of whom had cellulite visible to the naked eye.
